Our rover helped us practice converting measurements within the metric system.

Students wrote down the unit of measurement where Robot Bob began. When students said, "Go!" Bob moved until someone said, "Stop!" Students then converted the starting measurement to the ending measurement.

Robot Bob alternates moving forward and backward to prevent him from running off of the measurement track. Take a look at the program below.
