Product Explanation

     Our group made a plastic compactor. It is a compactor that crushes plastic. A Lego piece goes up, then a claw comes and stops the Lego piece. You put in your plastic container. Then the claw moves and the Lego piece goes down and crushes the plastic.  

 

  

Problem the invention solves

     Our invention helps citizens make more room in their recycling bin, so that plastic does not fall out of the recycling bin.

 

 

Terminology

Compactor-A device for compressing trash into a small mass for disposal
Plastic-Capable of being a molded, a synthetically made material which is molded into objects.
Toxic-Relating to a toxin; destructive and deadly.
Decompose-To decay; to separate into original parts.
Landfill-A system of trash and garbage disposal in which the waste is burned in low-lying land so as to build up surface.
Developed- To make fuller; bigger and better.
Wasting-Not using appropriately or using too much of something.

The Compactor has no competing products. The closet  product is a can crusher.
