Product Explanation

Our product, The Seed Planter, has a bag of seeds on the top of the car. It travels in a wiggly lines around the farm while the seeds fall out in a fairly straight line. This product solves the problem of tractor pollution.

Problem

The Seed Planter solves air pollution because it runs on battery and tractors use fossil fuels. The environmental problem caused by tractors is the use of diesel fuel which pollutes the environment.  Many humans, plants, and animals could become very ill from the pollutants.  This also makes the sky very black and gray with oxides, nitrogen, hydrocarbon, carbon monoxide, and other chemicals.

Other solutions to the problem

One helpful solution could be a tractor that does not run by diesel fuel.  One other important solution is the EPA has become more strict about the emission standards for carbon monoxide, oxides of nitrogen, and particulate material.  The EPA estimates that by 2010 oxides of nitrogen emissions will be reduced by about one million tons per year, the equivalent of taking 35 million passenger cars off the road.

Terminology
