Explanation:
The Super Trash Can contains a light sensor. When trash is thrown into the can, the sensor detects the change in light and sounds an alarm. The alarm reminds the person with the trash to use a recycling bin instead, reducing the amound of trash going to a land fill.

Our invention solves many recycling problems such as the recycling of paper, glass, aluminum cans, plastics, and other products.

Other
solutions to the problem
Recycling paper and aluminum cans would reduce the nations garbage by about 25%. Disposal companies need to make smaller land fills with only biodegradable trash.

| Terminology:
Sanitary- free from filth, infection,or dangers to health. Bauxite- a clay substance that is the principl ore of aluminum.

Information:
Not enough consumers have recycling bins. Some don't look at what they throw away. Businesses and offices use tons of paper every year that could be recycled into new products.
