Trash Picker Upper 3000

The Trash Picker-Upper 3000 is an electrically made invention . Our machine does twice as much work as those long metal sticks. The sticks have you pick up the trash in a small chamber at the tip of the stick, and rely on you to dump it. Our product goes back and forth to pick up the trash with its jaws. All you do is dump the trash.

Our product picks up anything in its way. When people are too lazy to pick up the trash, all they would need to do with our product is turn it on and let it clean all of the small objects in its path.

We must educate others are the problem so they know how effective it is when they litter. People must pick up the trash on the ground then recycle it. People can also have fund raisers to see who can pick up the most trash.

Pollution- waste materials from people, animals and plants. 

Dump- a place where discarded materials are dumped.

Recycling- to process certain materials (liquid body waste, glass, cans) in order to regain the materials.  

Litter- unwanted materials spread in an area.

Garbage- food waste.

Waste Disposal- Gaseous waste, liquid waste, sewage waste and solid waste.

Trashing- Throwing something in the trash to dump it.

The Competing Products are: The Bagman, The Trash Trapper, The Trash Bagger and the EZ Reacher. The Bagman is a large bag that has a pole connected to the end of the bag so when you want to pick up trash all you need to do is sweep it into the bag. The Trash Trapper is also a bag. When you are too lazy to want to throw away your trash all you would need to do is throw it into the Trash Trapper. It can attach to anything because it has a sticky, tape-like substance that allows you to attach the Trash Trapper to anything. The Trash Bagger is a large bag that has a string that is supposed to be the handle. The handle allows you to hook it onto anything, so when you walk around picking up trash you won't need to go back and forth to the trash can. The EZ Reacher is a long plastic pole that has a point at its tip. It will poke the trash and hold it, so when you go back to the trash can to dump it all you need to do is slide it off of the product.

We went around Murchison Elementary School in Pflugerville, Texas and surveyed some of the teachers and students and these are the results:
