Students created models representing the composition of Earth's air. Each model showed the troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere, and thermosphere. Students learned that very little carbon dioxide exists naturally in the atmosphere. |

Students created a model of a greenhouse to test how well the Earth's atmosphere traps heat. We used the NOVA 5000 to take readings every 10 minutes for 40 minutes. Some results showed a difference of 20 degrees between the model with an atmosphere and the model without an atmosphere. |
