SPELLING		Use at least 8 words in 8 sentences or a story/article.	Study spelling words and meanings
READING		Read for 30 minutes. Witch of Blackbird Pond 1 - read to pp. Witch of Blackbird Pond 2- ch. Indian Captive- ch. A Light in the Forest - Ch. Squanto - ch.
LANGUAGE
MATH		Math Coordinate Picture - due Thursday (includes picture, list of coordinates pairs, and connections)
SCIENCE
SOCIAL STUDIES		Practice presentation		Colony presentations at 9:30 in the cafeteria.
MISC.

Homework includes unfinished class work and projects.

Homework should average about fifty minutes a night.

AT THE BEGINNING OF SCHOOL

Designate a specific time and place to complete homework each day.

Study in an area that is free of distractions.

Write down assignments each day in an assignment book. Record assignment due dates.

Be sure you understand all directions before you leave school.

Write down phone numbers of several classmates you may call for help.

TOO MUCH HOMEWORK?

Am I using my time wisely and completely in class?

Do I understand all directions before I leave school?

Am I writing my homework down each day in an assignment book?

Am I bringing all my materials home?

Am I working during my study time at home, or am I distracted and doing other things?
