OBSTACLE COURSE: 2003 |
| Students worked in groups to design, build, and program a vehicle to complete an obstacle course. The course required the car to move forward, knock down three bricks, turn right, move forward to hit a wall, back-up, turn right, drive into a box, stop, and play music. |

| This group built an extension to the front of the car that presses a touch sensor after contacting the wall. | |
|
|
| This group used gears to control the back wheels. The long ramming device in the front effectively knocked down the bricks. | |
|
|
| This group's car knocked over the bricks and headed straight for the car wash. They came in second place.!! | |
|
|
| This group's car completed the course perfectly the first time to win first place. Way to go!! | |
|
|
| This was one of the hardest working groups, using recess to make sure the car was ready on time. They placed third! | |
