Objective: Design and build a predator that can capture the most prey in one minute.
Materials: Team Challenge kit, items for predators to capture(We used rubber dinosaur counters), area for hunting
Procedure:
1. Study ecosystems and animal adaptations.

2. Design, build, and program a predator to capture as much prey as possible in one minute.Students may build arms to collect prey with or scoopers to scoop predators together.

3. The predator must be able to contain and hold on to its prey.

The Test:
1. Each group should place their predator inside the designated hunting space. A seven foot by seven foot space works great.
2. Time each group for one minute while their predator captures prey.
3. Count and post the food caught by each group.
4. Time all predators for one minute while they hunt at the same time. Post results.
